Spotify App Question

Hi Guys
Does anyone use the Spotify App, I'm new to it and the thing that is bugging me is that when I close the app the last track I selected is still there when I reopen it. Is there a way of clearing this before I close the app and going back to the home page perhaps?
Thanks for any help, obviously there is a simple solution I'm just not seeing!

Thats how ito works - its the same on the app for the Mac.

However, even though I'm singed in to both the mac and ipad versions it treats them both as individuals - so each remembers the last song played on it and doesn't pick up the last song played on the other.
