Hi, thanks for your help yesterday. We are going to look into buying a bigger hard drive. I would seriously be in a corner crying if my PC died on me. (I posted here as the original post is off the page and I wasnt sure if you would see my reply)

Glad I could help.

You may want to consider defragmenting your disk.

Over time all the files on your hard disk get scattered all over the place. Defragmenting tidies it all up and creates some space.

If you open "My Computer" right click on the drive, then chose Properties, Tools there is a Defragment option.

Note it can take 3 or 4 hours to defragment a disk so maybe leave it running overnight.

hi vhg, yesterday i did a disk cleanup (took 2 and a half hours, phew) so my mission for today was to do a defrag. Thanks for the directions, I have only done it twice in the last 3 years and couldnt really remember where I had to go to do it. Hopefully when its all cleaned up and a bigger hard disk put in we should stop having probs (oh and we decided to install some more ram too) Thank you very much for your help :)
