Every site I open, facebook, yahoo, msn news etc there is an infuriating bar that appears at the bottom of the page saying 'this site uses cookies ..... ' etc. I KNOW IT USES EFFING COOKIES, I AM SICK AND TIRED OF BEING TOLD IT USES COOKIES EVERY TIME I GO INTO A SITE - can I PLEASE stop this annoying problem, and how do I do it please?

Click 'I Agree' or whatever on each site. That cookie should then stop the pop-up from then on.
Thanks for the link HC, those cookie warnings have been the pain of my PC life.
As it is EU law that requires users to consent to cookies maybe this notice will be scrapped when we finally leave the EU
The law ought to be about warning of tracking, monitoring, data sharing cookies only. And the OS ought to be able to be set to always reject without letting it ask. Warning the individual at every site, is ridiculous, no one takes notice, it's just an annoyance. This is what happens when "know nothings" write and pass laws without taking advice.
