Whenever I watch BT Sport (I only use it to watch rugby) it stops every few so often and starts again after about the same length of time. This can vary between about twenty seconds and a few minutes. I have tried both Internet Explorer and Firefox, and there is little or no difference between them. I have tried restarting my hub without success. I recently bought another laptop, and there is no change. Please can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong apart from supporting Bath?
Very many thanks in anticipation!

There are two possible causes: 1. Your broadband speed isn't good enough. Check it here: http://www.speedtest.net/ 2. Something on your computer is hogging all of its resources. it sounds like its buffering instead of streaming because your connection isn’t fast enough?
There are two possible causes:

1. Your broadband speed isn't good enough. Check it here:

2. Something on your computer is hogging all of its resources. Right-click on your taskbar (at the foot of your screen). Select 'Start Task Manager'. Select the 'Processes' tab and click on 'Show Processes from All Users'. Look for any high figures under the 'Memory' column or under 'Memory'. Hopefully that will help you identify the problem but one which can be hard to spot can be your anti-virus program constantly trying to update itself but going round in constant circles, slowing everything on your computer to a crawl. (Do NOT use Microsoft's own security software, as it's notorious for doing exactly that. AVG can do it as well. Avast seems to be free of the problem though).

Thanks again Buenchico!
I carried out your instructions to the letter - and saw an instant improvement - once I had deleted the obviously high figures. However, I have not solved all the problems, because today I can't get on to the internet on my 'best' laptop in Firefox, Internet Explorer or Avast. I was able to watch rugby on my old laptop today, in Firefox, without any 'freezes' - a hitherto unknown experience!
As ever, thank you very much for everything. With the best will in the world, I hope I don't have to bother you again for a while!
Best regards
Chick
