Does anyone know if it is possible to transfer downloaded radio programmes from the bbci player radio app on to an mp3 player, at the moment I record them onto a voice recorder but its a bit of a faff and uses batteries , thanks for any help

I don't have an mp3 player to test it on, but I just picked a program at random (A Perforated Ulcer E6), and downloaded it. It's a perfectly normal mp3 file, and I've played it in VLC, Windows Media Player and QuickTime, so I can't see any reason why it wouldn't play on an mp3 player.

As far as I know, although you can of course download to MP3, the download is only playable for a certain number of days.
If that is an issue then there are I believe software downloads that can get around that
