I have a new notifacion message on my laptop.
It reads:
"Reconnect your drive.
Your file history drive was disconnected for too long. Reconnect it and then tap or click to keep saving copies of your files."
It is dated yesterday and to be honest I haven't noticed anything amiss at all.
I googled this problem but the explanations are way over my head...so.
What happened to bring this about and how do I rectify it please. I'm using Windows 10.

Are you backing up to an external source or a network or cloud location ImLo. Nothing to worry about I feel, just a warning that you have not been running back up for a while. It is all linked to your " File History" drive being disconnected for longer than your personal settings have designated. Do not panic.
This has happened to me on numerous occasions, I run Windows 10 but do have an external hard drive to store my back ups on so that is the reason I get the message. No problems.
