All my sites are all normal what I am used to every day.

Last night when I was going to Outmail - which I go right into and happy with the size of fonts, set up. and size of fonts - every time

An example - it started to "opening outlooooook........................"

then brings me onto my site which at a glance on one page you normally get 35 emails now my guess I am looking 100 wee tiny lines. Yes I can scroll etc to page the bigger
but I don't want that. Help please and thank you.

Try pressing Ctrl and 0 [that's the number zero, not the letter O] together. That should return the display to normal size. (If you want it bigger still , press Ctrl and + together until you reach the desired size).

chris - I know about the control business - the whole outlook has taken a different shape as well - like giving a "box" to send my messages etc. I actually logged out last night to see if it would be better this am. but no,
My 'Hotmail' changed to 'Outlook' a few weeks ago - I've got used to it now.
Back in July it was reported that "Microsoft wants to finish the new Outlook.com rollout by the end of summer"
http://mspoweruser.com/microsoft-wants-finish-new-outlook-com-rollout-end-summer/
so perhaps you're simply seeing a new design from Microsoft?

I wouldn't touch Hotmail/Outlook with an infinite number of the proverbial bargepoles. Get yourself a decent email account with GMX and simply use the 'Mail Collector' facility to automatically forward mail from your Outlook account:

thanks Chris - that's just what it is a "roll-out" - I am not techie - so wouldn't know where to start with your gmx.

If I get round to it - do I need to inform my friends and foe that my address has changed?
To get a new account with GMX simply follow my link (above) and click on 'Sign Up'. Then just fill in the boxes.

Once you've got a new account, log into it. (Use the same link but click on 'Log in'). Click on 'Mail Collector' and enter your old Outlook (or Hotmail) address and password into the boxes.

Decide if you want copies of your Outlook mail to remain available on the Outlook website (as well as being forwarded to your new GMX address). If so, REMOVE the tick alongside 'Delete e-mails from the third party server after fetching'.

Decide whether you want mail sent to the Outlook address to be kept in a separate folder to anything sent to your GMX address. (It's probably simplest just to have everything arrive in your main Inbox, so REMOVE the tick alongside 'Sort e-mails to a separate folder').

Decide whether you want people (who've sent mail to your old Outlook address) to see your new GMX address when you reply to them. If so, leave the final box unticked. If you'd rather that they still saw your old Outlook address, put a tick in the box.

Click 'Save'.

Thereafter all mail sent to your old Outlook address will automatically be forwarded to your new GMX one, so you DON'T have to advise all your contacts about your new address. They can continue using your old one if they like; you'll still receive all their mail through your new GMX account.

It really is easy!
