My sons Samsung A5 mobiles screen went progressively black and nothing could be seen. Not dropped or damaged but only placed in the seat back of an aircraft seat so possibly pressure on the mobile caused the problem. Today the LCD was replaced and worked fine for a couple of hours however the problem has re-occurred. The work has a guarantee so hopefully can be sorted by the shop but what may be the root cause causing this? Be good to be armed with any knowledge prior to going back to the shop on Monday, which has already been messaged by myself regarding the problem.
