While i am on a roll. Why is my kindle fire taking so long to charge? From 4% to 100% in well over 12hrs.

Is it the original lead? An inferior lead can have less current-carrying capacity, slowing the rate of charging.

Are you using the one supplied or another. The one supplied shouldn't take twelve hours anyway, but you can buy faster chargers from Amazon. Mine is a couple of hours.
