Laptop Is Going Slow Again, Takes Ages To Load Page.... Was Ok Yesterday

my system has been slow to load pages etc, im using HP chromebook . apparently you cannot get viruses etc on chromebooks as they are only for browsing.

it was fine all last month but a couple of months ago i had same problem for a while .

what could it be, what can i do to fix it.
