Android Lollipop Upgrade To Marshmallow

My android phone is running version 6 Marshmallow. My friend's is running Lollipop. Today she got a message on the phone inviting her to upgrade to Marshmallow. Unsure what to do, she selected No Thanks, but now wishes she'd said yes. Is there a way she can still upgrade, and if so, how? The phone is a motorola Moto E 2nd gen. TIA

Go to 'Settings', then 'About Phone' and 'Software Update'.
