Thanks for all the answers so easy whenyou know how. However when I tried to uninstall the programme I wanted to it could not said there was a problem and to connect yoursupport personnel orpackage vendor whatever that means. Any ides does it just refer to that proramme or the computer?
What program are you trying to uninstall?
You've not told us which program it is which you want to remove but, in general, you can't uninstall a program which is actually running. Perhaps a component of the relevant program runs automatically when you start your computer, meaning that you'll need to terminate it (via the Task Manager) before trying to uninstall it. (Alternatively boot your computer into Safe Mode and try to uninstall from there, as most 'run in the background' programs aren't automatically launched in Safe Mode)
First of all BJS is w 10 running the latest version ie are your updates all done or on automatic update, and what are you hoping to uninstall. You may have to open powershell as administrator.

I have been trying to install a Family Tree that I had on my previous computer . Yehad downloaded it and had uninstalled it with no trouble but had some mire advice from the web site (Kith and kKin Spansoft) so was trying to uninstall it again and start from scratch but today unlike yesterday cannot do it. This leads me on to how does one find the Restore file and in Windows 7 you had a Accessories file from which you could do various disc fubstions such as defragmentation etc and so far have not been able to locate these functions. A right dumbo I am.
