If it is Boot options you require, take look at the following Toshiba info detailing how to access a Boot menu at power-on:-

Hope that helps.

it is but the f12 hotkey wont let me into boot options and i cant get into the f2 bios either.as asks for supervisor password. i need to somehow if there a way get rid of the supervisor password or reset it or something
I used to work for IBM and when I had one of their laptops at work I was told if you set the BIOS password there is no way of getting in to the computer if you forget it.

I seem to remember it said even IBM can get rid of the password for you.

Not sure if the same applies to the password on a Toshiba.

there is ways of getting rid of it i just dont have what it takes or knowledge for that hence why im asking on here . i no it long shot.
Try leaving cmos battery out overnight. Try password or Password ..might be the default or just press enter when prompted for it.

Then on 3rd post there is a zip file.Download it and you can sort out your problem

Surely, Cleggie, that would only work after getting into Windows, wouldn't it? Since C_P can't get that far, I can't see how it could work!

There are plenty of Youtube videos which show how to reset a BIOS password by using the jumpers. Such a technique might be worth a try but since it seems that a Toshiba 'supervisor password' comes BEFORE a 'BIOS password' in the security sequence, I'm not sure that it would work.

I have to admit that I've never heard of a 'supervisor password' before googling it but this suggests that it's an additional layer of security ON TOP of both BIOS and Windows passwords: http://support.toshiba.com/support/viewContentDetail?soid=108503

It looks like, unless you pay Toshiba to sort it out, you might not be able to find a solution:

Sorry!
