I have a Samsung galaxy note 10.1 tablet and I have a problem with the internet, I connect just fine to the internet and can open web pages and browse just fine if I type in an address or search. However for the last three days or so when I click on the icon to go to my bookmarks page I get a message saying 'sorry internet has stopped working',and the internet does just stop. I cannot access bookmarks or clear history, I have run a virus scan and malwarebytes but still the problem persists, any suggestions from anyone before I do a factory reset?
TIA

You could try installing an alternative browser, for example:-

https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/android/

and

http://www.opera.com/tablet/operabrowser/android
Does that occur everywhere ? Just wondering if your WiFi router has dropped off the Net.
Go to Settings>wifi>Advanced>Never

No joy with that Tambourine. I will try another WiFi though to see if it's somehow my connection and not a tablet glitch

Apparently this not an uncommon problem, I had to go to application manager, select all, then Internet and then clear data. I then lost all the bookmarks but as I couldn't access them anyway it made no difference.
