I used PC Anywhere many years ago, and it was fine, easy to learn how to set up & use. I don't know about it nowadays (upgrades etc), but I think you can do the same thing with Windows Messenger.

We used it for a short while at my company, but apparently there are some security issues.I now have a little eletronic gadget that gives me a 6 didgit pass code to log onto my company server, and this number changes every minute.

I use it all the time to connect from my desktop in Greece to my clients in the UK. You can connect by direct dial or via IP over the net. But you will have to configure your office firewall to allow traffic through the appropriate port.

If configured correctly it is very secure.

Alternatively, if your server is W2K or later you could just use the remote admin option (you may need to install the remote desktop client on your colleague's machine).
