I'm no expert. But I do know you can buy a new screen. I think it cost £80 when I had one fitted.

More information is required to assist AB Techies to reply.

What laptop are you using ? (Make and model number.) What Operating System ? (Windows Vista, Windows 7/8/8.1 or whatever) Have you posted your question into AB from the Laptop concerned.?

The more details you provide the more likely you are to get an answer to resolve your unfortunate problem.
