My S2 got to the point of needing a recharge after just 8 hours. Bought a new battery for it but it still runs out of electricity faster than James May's Lambourghini Uracco. Even without making calls or dicking about on the internet it still runs out of juice much quicker than when I bought it. Any suggestions?

Is your relacement battery a genuine one from Samsung or a cheap one from amazon?
Also I found that my battery drains very quick (I have S3) if I have WIFI turned on but am not at home so if the phone is always hunting for a signal it drains much quicker
Yes a good idea to turn off both the Wi-Fi and Blue Tooth.
