Why is it that sometimes when I type my message i need to click SEND because hitting RETURN doesn't work. At these times I don't get the 'tootling' noise when I get a new message - I have to hope I spot the new message at the bottom of my screen. Most of the time it's ok and sometimes it seems to switch from fully functional to the problems I've mentioned and vice versa.

I'm a complete computer muppet so any help would be appreciated. Thanks

ok you must have an older cersion of msn and you might have a problem with your speakers ...does it flash when you get a new message?
