Hi,

Sky made a recent change to their menus and features and it has had a negative impact on my sound amplifier.

I have a Panasonic Amp which has my speakers attached to it. It is connect to my TV by optical audio cable, the problem is whenever I go into the tv guide, my sounds switches to Aux and so I have to change to go back to D-In.

I have checked all options and changed sky box to use Dolby instead of stereo and vice versa but nothing has made a difference. It is really annoying.

Any advice?

Thanks

Until you can find a fix, I suggest you use the amp’s Aux input.

I doubt that you will notice any degradation in sound quality by using an electrical signal input (at line level) versus the optical input.
