..Hi.....I would like to be able to make some "water-slide" transfers or decals for my newly painted cycle and wondered if anyone had tried this using an ink jet printer. Might not be possible but any help would be appreciated.

If you do know where I could buy this stuff, please could you post the address.  thanks..commoner

What about a local F.E. college? Most have some kind of art course and will do "outside" work. If you can supply the design you want on disc, chances are they they can advise on printing. They may also be able to help with design advice.
Make sure the ink in your printer is waterproof. Sorry if I'm pointing out the obvious but just being careful.

..Many thanks guy, that seems to be exactly the stuff I want.......the "out sourcing" is not what I want at the moment as I am a real DIY enthusiast but all advice is helpful...thank a bundle..commoner.
