We are in the middle of clearing Dads house as he has gone into a home and he has some old cameras and photography equipment from the 1950/1960's. He was very interested in developing his own pictures and a lot of the equipment is stuff linked to this aspect of photography.

Is there a market for this kind of stuff? I don't just want to put it on eBay or dump it at the tip unless I know it isn't of value or use to anyone.

Can anyone advise?

Thanks in advance.

take a look and see if anything similar is on ebay. You needn't sell there but it might give you a feel for demand and prices.
You can list what you have or email me and I'll give you what advice I can... if interesting enough I might make you an offer!! [email protected]

Thanks for that ....I will get a list together and when it's done I will send it to you.
I feel sure there must be.
Although these days with the ubiquitous PCs, I reckon it's probably more the nostalgia market than the hobby photographer market.
Have you got a local auctioneers, they should be able to give you some idea of their worth, then you can decide whether to leave them there for the next relevant auction. We were pleasantly surprised when we took some of my grandparents things along.
