Battery Life In Samsung S4 . Its Terrible

im lucky to get 8 hours out of my battery life . is it all the apps etc ? facebook , google maps etc.

how can i keep battery life good without having to charge all time ?

If you are using your S4 to browse the Internet then you are unlikely to get much more than 8hrs battery life. :-

Hi there: Had a similar experience with an Apple iPhone 4S. I discovered lots of things were 'always on' like Bluetooth, WiFi and Google Maps. If your phone is set up in similar fashion all that's needed is to turn off the above and the like and this should alleviate the problem of poor battery life. My phone only then lasted considerably longer between charges. Hope this helps ...

Agree - it is rubbish- mine is down to zero every evening. Would also like to know how to extend the life.

* Turn off communication app when they are not in use.
* Turn on power saving mode.
* brightness can be lowered.

Its hard to increase battery life in Android operation system, so get an extended battery.
