Transferring Music To A Tablet

Hi
Can anyone please tell me how to go about transferring music from a laptop to an Android tablet? It doesn't say how it's done in the online manual.
Any help would be much appreciated :)

try a different usb lead it sounds like you are using a charging lead and not a data cable.

Thank you Garfield. We tried putting the music on a micro SD card and hey! It worked :)
