Double Plug Adaptors

double plug adaptors are common in the UK and Europe but I am trying to find one for the USA (USA to two USA sockets) but without success, the reason I want one is that we are about to go on a cruise on an American ship and my experience of these ships is that they only have ONE power socket behind the beds where the bedside lamp is usually plugged into, but I need to run a small medical machine as well.
Can anybody tell me if such a thing exists and where can I get one from?

We went with Princess Cruises Secsee & can nor remember using an adapter, we can you not keep your meds in your room fridge?

Its not for medication TWR its to run a machine that assists breathing, the trouble is if I plug that in the bedside light has to be unplugged.
And yes we have been with Princess many times and always have the same problem, I cannot believe that the Americans have not got around to making double power adaptor!
I assume you mean US to US? One solution I can think of is a US to UK adapetr (which you plug the bedside light into) and the plug that into a double socket UK to US adapter which will take your machine (which presumably has a UK plug on it). You then plug that into the ship USA socket.
Both items are available on amazon quite cheaply:
