Why does the number 1133146957 appear on the screen when I am watching football on Sky Sports It seems to appear for 5 minutes sometimes 10 then disappears

It's something to do with the transmission. If you switch channel and then go back it'll disappear. Nothing to worry about.

I believe this is transmitted occasionally on Sky Sports to prevent people 'streaming' the Sky coverage by filming their TV and transmitting it over the Internet.

The obvious thing that occurs to me is that anyone who wanted to do this would just cover up the bit of the screen by the Sky Sports logo - but then again what do I know!
