Bookmarks - Apple Imac

When I got my new Apple IMac - December 2013 - the installer ttansferred all my bookmarks from my old Windows XP Professional onto my new Apple IMac. I have Bookmarks which I no longer require - can someone [-lease tell me how to delete the ones I do not want?

You've not stated which browser you're using but every browser I've ever come across offers a 'delete' or 'remove' option if you simply right-click on them.
Which browser are you using.

It it's Safari then select "Bookmarks" from the neader menu and then "Edit Bookmarks" from the drop down which will display a panel of your bookmarks (you may have to click open folders to see actual bookmarks). Select bookmark not required and press delete on your keyboard or drag it to your wastebasket.

If anyone's fed up of resizing every page using the Safari 7 browser, there's an extension: AllPagesZoom...I'm using a 13" macbook and I use this extension and zoom in 125%.

Put the curser on the bookmark you no longer require, hold down the mouse key and drag it off the window.
