I have recently installed a Smart TV (Sony) and find that the only channels I can access for "Catch Up" are BBC and 5. My dealer explained that for contractual reasons these are the only channels that are available to Sony.
All channels are available to me on my laptop and my query is to ask if having accessed catch up from any channel can the progamme be viewed on my TV. Any advice would be appreciated.

You can connect your laptop to your tv and watch it on the bigger screen that way.

Thank you hc4361. As my computer and TV are at opposite ends of my bungalow and are both served by the same wi-fi router I was rather hoping that cableing between the two could be avoided. Seems not. Ideally of course Sony could get their act together and make "Catch Up" of all channels available.
