Samsung Galaxy S3

I have recently up graded to the S3 from the S2 and on the lock screen on the S2 I could display my location and the weather, I do not seem to be able to add this information to the S3 lock screen, has anyone any idea if this is possible please

I don't lock mine, but I have the time and weather on my main screen... no idea how I got it there, though :-(

if you have the latest OS then those options are no longer available in the Lock Screen settings

Bound to be one of the active wallpapers surely ? If this one is not preinstalled maybe you can check the name on the old one and try to download it to the S3 ?
