I'm looking for a booster unit for my home SKY hub. I need to improve the wifi signal in all parts of my home including sending to a summerhouse about 60 feet from the hub through walls etc. the hub is situated fairly centrally in my hall but there a few walls causing several wifi cool spots. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance...

Come on guys I need some input!
Is the summerhouse on the same mains wiring as the room where your router is? If so, you'll get vastly better performance by sending the signal through your mains wiring than by trying to use wireless solutions over that range. e.g:

or, with two extender plugs:

NB: While that make has plenty of recommendations, Maplin is unlikely to be the cheapest place to buy them and there will be other (probably cheaper) brands that can do the job just as well. I've only used them as an example, to point you towards the type of solution that you should be considering.

Thanks for that Buenchico, wiring is spurred to summer house from ring main via an RCD. Will check out that method of booster. Sounds like similar technology that baby alarms use. Sounds like if I got two of those units the wall problems will be minimised. Cheers B/H
