Text Failing On Lumia 625

Hi All,
I've had an issue all afternoon sending texts from my Nokia Lumia 625. It keeps coming up "can't send, try again". I can receive texts OK. Have deleted shed loads in case it was a memory problem, but keeps happening.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Have tried the Vodafone "help" desk and online support but everything is engaged. So much for 24/7 support.
Have only had the phone about 2-3 weeks.
Assistance appreciated.

Not the phone. Vodafone had big problems yesterday, probably why their help desk was always engaged. Hope all is ok today.
