My daughter had a new mobile phone for Christmas but the sim card in her old phone is bigger than for her new one. It is possible to transfer her old number to her new sim please? The network she is using is Orange. Thank-you.

I chopped my son's sim card down to fit his new phone.
CarphoneWarehouse will cut to Micro Sim for £4.
I went from a big SIM card to a smaller one - himself phoned up my provider to sort it all out (I can't be doing with talking to people in call centres, usually I can't understand them and they can't understand me).
My last phone went from big sim to small sim ( Orange network ) I just phoned Orange and all was sorted.
Orange will be able to send you a "mini" sim to go in the new phone.
yes, you just tell the network that you want to move your phone number!
If the new phone came unlocked then the easiest way is to get somebody to cut the old sim card down to fit the new phone. IF the new phone came with a sim card then it is possible you may have to have the new phone unlocked, then have the old sim card cut to size.
Contd.

If the old phone and the new phone are on the same network, then it is just a case of getting the original sim card cut to size.
new sim cards are dual now you just push the smaller one out of the larger one if you need to
