Can't Set Comp To Automatic Sleep Mode

Hi,

I.m running W7 professional and my screensaver is "Live picture gallery" set at 7 mins. I went to power options and on the recommended scheme I set the monitor to close after 15mins and sleep mode at 30mins, clicked the save changes button. As the question suggests its not working, am I to do something else to make this work please.
