Using Cloud System Uninstaller

I have recently suffered from a couple of pop-ups called adtecs.sitescout.com and pup.optional.b.

Some have told me to search my Add and Remove list, but I can see nothing anywhere near these so as to remove them.

Others have suggested that I install Anvi uninstaller which is integrated in Cloud System Booster.

Is this safe to install and will it do the job of uninstalling these threats?

Already have that add-on, but it doesn't prevent those I was referring to.

But thanks anyway for responding.

Could you install a pop-up blocker?
