Well Finally Got My Hp Laserjet Printer To Work, Just Cant Get My Canon Scanner To..

after all that messing about with my printer, and to think the solution was starring me in the face.because i dont have internet at home, i rely on a bar with wi-fi, well what i did was leave the download with image of a printer needing to be connected to my pc, closed my pc, went home, connected it, and hey presto!!
but the blooming scanner is proving harder nut to crack!! i'm almost there, got the usuall image of my scanner all ready to scan but then finally nothing.

sorry methyl, i must've got carried away. I have a packard bell 10" notebook, dot s, 1gb, windows 7. the printer which i finally configured is a hp laserjet p1005. the scanner is a lide 20.hope thats enough info
