www.pcpro.co.uk has some good forums. their help forum is the best if u need something quickly
Why not try www.webuser.co.uk,  I have always found it really good, the people on there are really friendly and if it wasn't for the site my pc would have been in the bin months ago.

i've always used www.tek-tips.com

they've got a very comprehensive list of forums on all kinds of software/hardware/programming languages/technologies/etc.

I'd go for TekTips too; that's usually pretty good.
google for "expert sexchange" and let the lovely search engine correct your typing faux pas.
That's free for a bit until you run out of question credits.
Have you tried the Microsoft news groups? You can post Qs there as well as answer other peoples' queries. A lot of the MVPs post there regularly and you can learn a great deal.
I've found useful advice on both Tek-Tips and Experts Exchange.  epending on what you're looking for, try heading over to the IT And Computers section of the Guardian's talkboards ( http://talk.guardian.co.uk/WebX?13@[email protected] ).  The highest-traffic thread is PC, Virus and Web Questions, posting there will get your question seen by some very knowledgeable and friendly people.  If they can help, they will.  If your question's Mac-related, try the equally friendly and knowledgeable Mac-people in the Mac Help Thread.
Without doubt, the finest PC help site on the net is http://pcpitstop.ibforums.com/ The 'User to User' section has so many wizz-kids that it's unusual not to get your problem solved. Just bear in mind that all times are American, so don't forget to make allowances when waiting for a reply. I have been a member for about 4 years (it's free) and my PC knowledge has definitely benefitted as a result.
Hope this helps.
