Or any other computer whizzkid!
I'm normally pretty good with the tech side of things but there is something puzzling me.
My hard drive of 100gb is almost full. I say puzzling because I can't work out why! All my music, video's, pics etc(or certainly the vast majority) are on external drives.
The C drive/local disk says I have roughly 5 gig(of 100) of space left and just over 2 gig(of 11) on the D/recovery drive.
Bar Google Earth and Microsoft Office I have hardly any other programmes that would take up so much space. Or is this the norm?
Any idea's what could be using up so much space?
Thanks in advance for all help/suggestions.

Yes, I tend to 'do the gardening' roughly once a fortnight and empty the recycle bin at least twice a week.
Thanks for the link, will give it a go.
I've known of the symptoms on a Vista machine - don't know if it applies to Win 7 or 8. Anyway it was the ManifestCache, as detailed here -
