Greetings each.
I am experiencing ongoing problems with my BT mail service which they do not seem able to rectify. Basically this is a Yahoo problem as genuine e-mails keep ending up in Yahoo Spam folders, despite that feature being disabled/turned off. BT uses Yahoo for mail services.
As I am now considering transferring to a different provider, can anybody recommend a decent one please?
I have previously used Virgin, Tiscali and Talk-Talk and wouldn't now touch either of them with the proverbial barge pole!
Be good!
Cheers.

Like KJN, I'd suggest looking for an alternative email provider. If its only the e mail side of BT youre unhappy with why not open a google mail account.?

Further, using a third-party email supplier means that you can always keep the same email address no matter how many times you change your ISP.

BT is usually rated as one of the better ISPs, alongside Plusnet, but the really good ISPs tend to be pricey. For example, Xilo gets excellent reviews but it's not cheap, while Claranet (which I use) is the choice of many major businesses which rely upon top quality internet provision but, again, it's not cheap. (I've got an ADSL2+ service, which gives me broadband at twice the speed of regular ADSL services, with a low contention ratio and no download limits, for £18.11 per month).

You get what you pay for!

I would go for Google Email. It is the best !

Greetings each.
I would be 100% happy with BTinternet if they did not insist on Yahoo as their e-mail partner. Yahoo STINKS!
OK so I can tolerate massive advertising and other distractions (including their inefficient/unstable SPAM filtering system) when using Yahoo as a FREE mail service BUT:
As a paying customer I expect/demand a better service than I am presently receiving from BT.
YES, I could opt to change to a different mail provider and still keep BT as principal ISP BUT: That goes against the grain with me as I would then be still paying BT for only a PART service.
That ain't going to happen.
It's either ALL or NOTHING!
Thanks everyone for all advice received.
Stay good!
Cheers.
