sites with macromedia flash player

I have trouble with sites that use the above.i click on pictures and links and i get a little 'wibble' (?!) noise and nothing happens.i have right-clicked on the items and have made sure that i am 'allowing' this site but still nothing.i am using flash player 7.

does that noise mean that maybe my pop-up blocker from ms is stopping them ? if so,how do i allow them ?

Hold down the Ctrl key while you browse the site or click on the info bar that appears when a pop up is blocked and allow popups.

Or goto Tools --> Pop Up Blocker and then Allow Pop Ups.
