Hi. I've set up a page to promote novelty cakes that I make and sell which is linked to my own facebook account, however, it would not let me set up without including my address & phone number. I thought I'd be able to alter these once it was set up, but it seems not... I've been into settings etc., and there doesn't appear to be any way I can stop these from appearing on my page. Everyone who looks at the photos, likes the page etc can see my info - does anyone know if there is any way to hide it? Obviously, if people want to buy a cake I'd like them to inbox me, but I don't really want this info out there for all & sundry to see at will. Thanks in advance

I just looked at my sister in laws page, which sounds a similar thing and on hers she only put half her address (without street name or number) and her mobile.
I have a cake business page too and I just have my city and business mobile number on mine. I am not sure you can blank it completely.

I think probably because it's been set up as a 'business' page in particular, it will not allow to hide them for obvious reasons. I will have to try an edit them, and maybe change a digit on my phone number? This is only a sideline I do, as I have a full time job, so I'm more sort of appealing my friends, their friends & families, not necessarilly complete strangers.
It's a sideline for me too, and really only my firends and family see it. Complete strangers won't see it unless your page is shared by your "likers" (I think!)
*friends even!

It can be viewed by anyone at all if somehow they find themselves on that page, or directed to it by whatever means. I've had someone who is not a FB friend check it for me and we can see it. I've changed it from 'business' to other, and this allows me to delete address & phone numbers - thanks for your replies folks!
That's good, glad you got it sorted.

You should only disclose genuine addresses including address about city or locality. I too have an official page on Facebook which describes well my services for all kinds of home remedies for men's beauty and I prefer to share only the name of the city without complete details. I further take the help of https://bit.ly/2Fk7Grm to make my official page quite popular.
