Pased the ball to set up goal? Try to stop that.(6) I have d-f-n- So it could be define or defend but I don't see any rationale for either. Is "try" something to do with rugby? Please can someone put me out of my misery?

passed the ball to set up = fed reversed = DEF
goal = END
Fed (passed the ball) backwards = DEF
Goal= END
I wish I didn't have to keep signing back in to AB every time I return to my PC after a break

Dear all
Thank you so much! As ever, once it is explained, it seems so obvious! I found it very frustrating because I have been close to despair for the last three weeks when I came nowhere near to finishing. Then, this week, after a slow start, it clicked into place. Except for this one clue. Ah me, I'll get there one day.
