Hello all,

I am looking to buy a bridge style digital camera and was looking for some advice. I have been looking at the cannon sx40 and the nikon p510.

Does anybody own either of these or can offer advise on any better models.

I'm unfamiliar with these models SD but having owned both Canon and Nikon SLR's I would go with the Nikon brand every time.
Build quality seems so much better and if the spec of these two is similar that would be my deciding factor.
