My Internet/broadband service provider is Virgin Media and I have recently installed a Belkin wireless router so that I can use my laptop anywhere in the house
(it is not a massive house, just normal size) in most rooms it is OK but in 2 of the upstairs bedrooms the signal is very weak and almost non existent, is there such a thing as a "wireless router signal booster" if there is where do I get one and how do I use it?

Yes there is.

It's a bit hard to suggest one because we don't know if it would have to be wireless N capable from the information you provide, if it does they are a bit more expensive.
