and finally.... WHY is the answer to 4d 'midwicket'?

Clue: Lord's location cleverly timed to cover Highland town (9)

Or am I wrong? Is this a cricketing allusion of some sort and if so what's it got to do with a bluddy town in Scotland? Have my brains gone soggy?

Thanks dannyk, I saw it as soon as I posted the question, as is often the way.

That pesky DM compiler...
Highland town = Wick. Place this inside anagram (cleverly) of timed.
