Mouse wheel Excel 2007

Could anybody please tell me why in Excel 2007 when I turn the wheel on my mouse the text and cell size gets larger or smaller but every web page it just scrolls up and down the page,which is what I want it to do in Excel.

I have looked in Excel settings and can't find any reference to mouse wheel operation.

Changing the size is what the mouse wheel does if you are holding down the CTRL key at the same time.

So are you sure you are not holding down the CTRL key? and if not check you've not got sticky keys turned on in the accessibility options (in the control panel)

Have not got sticky keys turned on and I am not holding down ctrl key but when I hold ctrl down and operate wheel it scrolls up and down rows as I want, at least I now know how to do it.
