I'm ditching Sky because my HD box has gone wonky and I don't fancy letting Sky help themselves to my entire bank balance for a new box on top of what they extort out of me each month. But to replace it which is better? Freesat+HD or Freeview+HD? Which of the two are more reliable? My Sky+HD box seemed to crash very frequently.

I got an old OnDigital box off Freecycle to test coverage for Freeview and it was tip top, that's going in the spare room. Would a Freeview+HD box need a stronger signal?
