Cooling fans for Pentium 4

Hi. I realise fast chips will need faster fans, but are will all P4 fans fit all motherboards? My friend has a 3 yr old P4 computer made my Tiny, and i need to change the motherboard. I just need to know if a new fan will be needed.

as a pc repairer my advice to you is to always change the fan as after 3yrs the fan may be worn out and it is better to change the fan then risk the chip overheating
