getting favourites back

I have un-installed Google chrome and discovered that I can no longer access my list of favourites can anyone help me resolve this problem please.

Each of the major browsers stores its bookmarks (favourites) in a different location.
If you're lucky, uninstalling Chrome didn't remove the bookmarks. In which case, first re-install Chrome
Open the bookmark manager and export the bookmarks to an HTML file
Open the browser of your choice, select the bookmarks or favourites manager and import the html file.
'if you're lucky' ? You'll have to be more than lucky.
Uninstalling should remove the User/App Data Chrome folder .. complete with bookmarks. Most other browsers will be the same.
I've never uninstalled Chrome, Albags, but uninstalling Firefox leaves the data intact.
