My printer (above) has stopped printing. The flashing warning light wont let me turn it on or off. I rang HP who referred me to their diagnostics website. The website is not easy to navigate. Is the printer simply telling me the cartirdges need changing?

I tried what you said Fender. I was able to switch off but when I tried to print the same thing happened. I think I will try hanging the cartridges.
