Mysterious Skype calls

Yesterday I went into Skype and happened to notice that the amount of credit available had reduced somewhat. I then went into call history and discovered that seven calls to the same mobile number - of generally 7 to 8 seconds duration - were shown to have been made in the previous 4 to five hours. As, obviously, I didn't make them, has anyone an explanation as to what happened?

Chrissa Skype to Skype is free but if you Skype to landlines or mobiles you have to pay.
