Screen text upside down

How do you return the text on your monitor to the right way up please?

I only know the answer to this question because I have a cat that stomps across my keyboard - resulting in the same problem.

Press the Ctrl, Alt and one of the Direction keys (Up, Down, Left, Right etc) to swing the display through the various orientations.

That doesn't work on my computer - are you running a program for this?

I have a monitor which can be rotated, and use my graphics card program to rotate the text - jolly useful as an A4 page is displayed properly.
